Writers, real PROFESSIONAL writers, pay themselves first, and have a retirement portfolio of some kind.

What John Scalzi writes about writing as a profession is true.  Especially the part about being very very lucky in whom you marry. Damn, but he and I aced that, by marrying up.]]></description>
