    Well, I’m really late to this party, but I do have a late request:

    When I read the scene in TAD with Judge Sn, the impression I got was that of a scene where a bit actor shows up and ends up stealing the show. I believe you once wrote that this was a surprise to you as you wrote it. Can you describe how a character like that can grow in the telling beyond what you as the author had planned?
