I wonder if Ms. Livingston has had the pleasure of reading Elizabeth Bear's Promethean novels. Given the theme of her novel, she might find Bear's series quite interesting.

Having lived in New York on and off for 25 years, I can attest to the magic of Central Park. It is a wondrous thing. The park is most magical after a fresh snowfall. If one avoids looking upwards, one feels ensorcelled by the joy of being someplace outside the realm of daily existence.

I had never heard of Andrew Green. i thought the park was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead and Calvert Vaux.

I'm looking forward to reading the book.

Oh, this sounds like it's right in my wheelhouse. We lived in the City for 11 years, and I never got tired of roaming around Central Park. It is a magical place.

You should be getting kickbacks for all the books you end up selling me, Scalzi. Thanks!
