There, Done

Finally finished that novella. Now I won’t be murdered!

However, I am pretty tired. Writing all day takes it out of you.

See you tomorrow. I’ll tell you more about it then.

Yes, I like the false sense of security finishing your little book thing gives you. Yes, you deserve a nap. Be sure to leave your door open a crack.

  2. MShades says:

Damn. Now what am I going to do with all these collectors’ edition John Scalzi commemorative plates?

  3. Christopher Turkel says:

I just lost the office pool.

  4. Tumbleweed says:

Hmmm…death by unfinished writing. That’s creative! You have to keep writing…if you type less than 50wpm, you explode!

  5. Well, hell. It’s great that you won’t die and all but now I have all these homicidal schemes that I won’t be able to test out. Anyone have Bin Laden’s home address?

  6. Jim Wright says:

    So, you’re like dead tired?

  7. Tully says:

No hit job? What am I supposed to do with all these Peeps™?

  8. Shanon says:

ARC de Triumph of Scalzi vs. executed perfection?

  9. inkgrrl says:

Glad you won’t be murthered. That would be bad.

  10. Christopher Hawley says:

…because we’d all have to CROW about it.

  11. hugh says:

Death – don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.

    Braaaaaiiiiiiiinnnnnns!

  12. writtenwyrdd says:

So now you can have some bacon?

  13. Darn it. Now we never get to see Death by Velvet Elvis.

  14. MarkHB says:

Tumbleweed @4, how about once he types more than 55 words a minute, he can’t type less than that or he’ll explode! They should make a movie about that. “The writer who couldn’t slow down” or something.

  15. kaellinn18 says:

    @10

Well played, sir. Well played indeed.

  16. Potato says:

No death! Does this mean cake?
