So I have to say, every single time you write "Patrick Nielsen Hayden" I first read it as "Neil Patrick Harris", and I get all excited because I think that you're friends with him, and maybe you can introduce us. You know, right after I introduce myself to YOU.

I blog at a mystery writer's site called Murderati.com. We (or more accurately, our long-suffering leader JT Ellison) recently moved to SquareSpace and it was, indeed, quite painless.

there are worse things than having the Managing Editor of Science Fiction at Tor Books be grateful to you

Probably having him despise you for bad, data-destroying advice would be one of the worse ones though. If he's ever looking for someone to battle at Combat however -- be sure to post a link. I'll be all over that. ;)

Jeremy:

Not useful here -- I'm not Patrick, and he's more likely to read this stuff on his site than here. But thanks.

I see a lot of tech people raving about a host called Squarespace.com. I dont know much about it, or hosts in general but everyone says its easy to migrate your stuff to, and is great at allocating resources to prevent outages.
