My favorite is still the song sung by Lovel Handel in the episode about getting the band back together for their parent’s anniversary.

Actually, all the songs on that episode are fun.
That’s by Bowling for Soup? They did the theme song for a PS2 hockey game my husband used to play.
I like ‘em.
My 5 1/2 year old daughter and I love to watch P&F! Great soundtrack and the writing rocks.
I admit it! I admit it! And I have no kids to excuse me. :-D I also enjoy “The Backyardigans” from time to time. Don’t judge me.
P&F is one of the more tolerable ‘toons, even though my kids watch it but rarely (we seem to be an “all-Nick-all-the-time” household these days). I feel no shame in admitting that I have enjoyed the episodes I’ve watched, and maybe even laughed aloud a time or two.
Then again, I have been known to watch Sponegbob Squarepants or The Fairly Odd Parents entirely on my own, with no kids present, so that may give you a fair inkling as to my maturity level.
I’ve seen Bowling for Soup a lot of times live (they’re local to Dallas, so they play a lot of shows here), and they’re always delivering great songs.
Fun fact: the four band members make an animated cameo at 1:01 in the video.
It’s good. It’s no “Teen Titans” theme by Puffy AmiYumi, but what is?
…and now I’ve finished watching the video, and the band members are all over it, and I look like an idiot for thinking I was dishing out a secret.

I am planning for summer, and I have a pimp thread on this blog to thank for it.
So thank you, pimp thread, for you have given my life direction. Or at least six weeks of this summer.

I’ll freely admit that my wife and I watch P&F on a regular basis. You know… we just have to watch it to make sure that our 4 year old will like it. yeah that’s it, we’re being good parents and reviewing it before letting him watch it, that’s a good story.
This could possibly be the best day ever!
I’m not afraid to admit it: I love Phineas and Ferb. And I’m a single male who has no reason to.
My friends (many of whom have kid siblings, which is how they got introduced) had been working on me for a while. We now sing the songs to each other frequently. I’m now trying to hook my parents and siblings.
I have been seduced by the coolness.
I love the show. I was introduced to it by my 4 year old nephew and now I’m hooked. how can you not love a show that has a musical number every episode, a platypus secret agent and a villain who has incorporated as Doofenschmertz Evil Inc. (complete with its own jingle).
Thank you for the video. I will be sure to implement it within the P&F-theme-inator-inator I plan to build this summer.
Phineus and Ferb totally rock. A great cartoon. Not quite Spongebob level, but great fun.

I will proudly say that I love Phineas and Ferb – at which point the adults in the room all say “Cool!” and the kids all say “Huh?” It’s a cartoon that, like many of the greats, is so wasted on kids…

One of the best “kids’” shows out there, period.
But I’ve said that before.

I knew that I liked you, Mr. Scalzi! This just confirms it. P&F is the funniest cartoon on T.V. right now, bar none.

I love Phineas and Ferb, and I live in fear of the day when my kids decide they’ve outgrown it. We even bought the soundtrack album, and it is just the greatest music in the world to crank up to 11 when nobody else is home.
It doesn’t have “Impress My Professor,” though, so I suppose I’ll have to buy Volume 2 when it comes out.
My kids got me into it; but I was an easy convert, because I’d overheard detached lines like “in the terracotta army room”. We particularly liked the double length time travel episode, especially the ending.
Somebodies daughter told me there was an extended version and tried to sing it to me, but couldn’t remember all the words.
I’ve gotta get this soundtrack.
For the kids in my p.e. classes to work out to – not for rocking out to in the car or anything.
I love this show. Thankfully I have small children so its socially acceptable for me to watch it with them.

I’m 32 and make no excuses about watching this show (with or without my kids around). Funny is funny, whether it’s made for kids or not.
We had to unblock the Disney Channel JUST for this cartoon. It’s darn funny, and a nice relief from my son’s Spongebob-mania I’ve been living for going on 7 years now…ah, my 13 year old daughter was watching The Sponge even before that. I still find Spongebob funny (except for the two or so years it was produced by the guy who created Ren & Stimpy)

The truly great children’s shows are the ones that entertain both children and adults in different ways (I’m looking at you, Animaniacs). Let’s not forget the scathing satire that coexisted with cute goofiness on Rocky & Bullwinkle.
Even in college (early 90s) I wasn’t ashamed to admit my addiction to Batman: the Animated Series because although I wasn’t the biggest fan of the simplified figures and heavy line quality of the animation the writing was just THAT GOOD.
Another hallmark of a great series is a refusal to condescend or pander. If major network sitcoms were written half as well as Phineas and Ferb people might actually watch enthusiastically them too.

I love, love love Phineas and Ferb. I watch it, the toddler watches it and the pre-teen watches it. The fact that I can get the two kids to both enjoy watching the same show is a certifiable miracle.
#36 — Actually, college was when I learned to appreciate these kinds of cartoons properly. As a sprout, I didn’t like them. My parents, sadly, raised me snobby. Looks like it backfired. :-)
I remember turning to my roommate my freshman year after the episode “Fire from Olympus” and saying (in tones of actual betrayal), “That was DEEP! That wasn’t supposed to be DEEP!”
That sounds entirely too much like My Chemical Romance for my comfort.

Maturity is just another way of saying “emotionaly dead”, so yeah, I´m in college and love Phineas and Ferb. Episodes, characters, humor and writing are all great, and I´m not afraid to admit it.
