I’ve always loved his music.
A Clue! A Clue!
Looks like *someone* needs a cheer-me-up visit from a little blue dog!
But… I’d planned on turning invisible tomorrow!
I absolutely love Steve Burns’ cd. Fantastic stuff.
Steve! My favorite of his is Mighty Little Man.
@6: Concur.
This was actually a solid little record back in 2003 or 04 (I can’t recall). It was mostly produced by the guys from The Flaming Lips, so that certainly helped. I don’t think he’s put anything out since, which is a shame.
He has a great story on The Moth podcast about his a date with a Playboy model. It will make you laugh, cry, sigh heavily. You know, feel things.
Actually he has a second album under “Steve Burns + The Struggle.” I didn’t like it quite as much. I think the assistance of the Flaming Lips helped a lot on the first album.
I had completely forgotten about Steve “going to college.” Joe wasn’t anywhere near as good as Steve was. @Adrianne – The Moth podcast was awesome – thanks for sharing!
