I feel like there should be a superhero named Sundog. I’m not sure what his/her superpowers would be.
There was once a pretty decent computer game called Sundog.
I think this means that you’ll be getting snow in the next 48 hours. In January, in SW Ohio, surprise factor zero, Captain.
Thanks, John. I needed that.
“With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.”
Purty!
There once was a nerd from Darke Bradford
Who kept all his sunsets Whatever
But his puppy, Daisy
Ran away with his phone
And as for Whatever, it’s darker
Lovely!
You almost make me miss living in Ohio. Almost.
I adore winter sunsets. There’s something truly breathtaking about the contrast of the firey ball with a frozen, stark landscape.
Looks like a typical Darke County sunset. There was a singer named “Moondog” back in the 60s – boy, does THAT date me! I should have looked outside when I was going to pick up more kitty litter.
Very pretty.
Always love your sunrise/sunset pictures. I get to work pre-sunrise, and yesterday morning some whispy cirrus clouds were outlined in diffuse red, looked like a fire in the sky.
