See Me Interview Joe Hill For Booktalk Nation, April 11, 7pm EST

Joe Hill, of course, the author of Heart-Shaped Box, Horns (currently being made into a movie with Daniel Radcliffe) and the upcoming novel NOS4A2, which I am currently reading and is hella good, y’all. We’ll be talking about writing and books and music and ponies and life, more or less. Probably not too much about ponies. But it’s going to be a good time. And it will be done in Google Hangout form, and you can be part of it.

Here are the details and also where you can sign up. Don’t miss this; we’re gonna have fun.

  1. Super excited. Joe Hill doesn’t do bad fiction. Equally adept at comic, short story, and novel form.

  2. Oh, man… I probably can’t be there live, but will it be archived for us to check out later? I love his books and can’t WAIT to see that movie!

  3. Tsk, taunting us with your reading a pre-release book.

However it did motivate me to look at Hill’s other offerings and notice that both HEART-SHAPED BOX and HORNS are each currently for sale on Kindle for $2! Score!

  4. Nitrous Oxide for Ann Arbor? (Yes, I get what it actually says, but living in Michigan, I couldn’t resist.)

  5. I remember when reading “Horns” thinking “This isn’t quite the Great American Horror Novel – but Hill’s next will be.”

    Eagerly awaiting this book.
