Culver Hall, the University of Chicago, November 2013.
What a lovely picture.
OK, I’ll bite. What is that gorgeous foliage on the building? Ivy is evergreen.
Angie: looks to me like Boston Ivy (Parthenocissus tricuspidata).

I don’t know if it is my monitor or your photo, but the colors seem unreal. Beautiful, but unreal.
Lila, I think you hit it; I just looked it up and found even more gorgeous pix! Thanks!
UChicago truly has a gorgeous campus and gorgeous old buildings. I was fortunate enough to do my MA there, but then I had to move away to California to pursue other opportunities. I do miss the campus.
Fabulous color shift on the building’s ivy… great that you noticed it and took advantage of it.
We’ve been talking about visiting Chicago again ever since we last visited there in maybe 1970. Now there’s some procrastinatin’ for ya.
