Uh…

I collapsed into the sleep of the ill yesterday at about 5:30pm, and when I did my site had been inaccessible for about three hours (my hosting company had server issues). I see it’s back up now — can anyone tell me when they were first able to see the site again?
Being sick really sucks, incidentally. I’ve been winking out of conciousness for the last several days at 5 or 6 pm and waking up at 3 or 4 am. The good news is I’m getting a lot of sleep; the bad news is I’m getting this sleep on London time. It’s also been difficult to string thoughts together for more than three minutes at a time — not good news because I’m supposed to be giving one of my editors an expanded book proposal. I think I’ll tackle that today, after I hit myself with a mallet a couple of times to clear out the cotton batting between my ears.
Well, I happen to know that you’re in the ideal state for designing class-8 trucks. Whoever it was that decided the industry standard for the brakes should be a system that should enter a free-wheeling state if they suffer thermal failure clearly was overly fond of getting a mallet-to-the-head.
Hope you get to feeling better. I know that the website was down by around 5:30 (I was in class when I noticed), and back up by about 8:30 (I was downloading an episode of Lost from iTunes). Those are Eastern time. Hope that helps.

Don’t drive yourself too crazy. Your editor is down with what sounds like the same crud.
Oy. It’s everywhere this year, it seems.
Feel better!
What happened to the clones? Surely a man with so many fine looking clones as you have (and even the one disfigured one) could take care of business while you recover!
Get well, cap’n.
I saw that it was down yesterday afternoon but I didn’t check to see if it was back up until just now.
Hope you feel better soon…
What happened to the clones?More importantly, how do we know that this isn’t a rebellious clone making excuses to cover up the “transition” period, after tying up Scalzi-Prime down in the basement?
I noticed it back up around 8:30 or 9pm CST last night I believe.
