Congratulations Chad Orzel!

My friend Chad just got tenure. Now he can sleep in and let his grad students do all his work! And really, that’s the academic dream.
Go congratulate him, why don’t you.
They still make tenure track positions?
Looks like in at least this one case, yes.
Whatever, book 5, verse 9-10
“Scalzi says ‘Go forth and congratulate.’
The crowd gathered at the talking place hearkens to do His bidding. They concern themselves not with the identity of the man to whom they shout Hosanna, nor the depth of his accomplishment. They merely hear the Word, and so know their duty.”
I’m just saying, dude, it’s downright scary your ability to inspire blind obedience in your commenters (myself included). I hope you take Athena’s caveat to heart and only use your powers for good.
Damn…why do I feel the sudden urge to buy a New York Time Sunday Edition, of all things…

Alas, no grad students. That’s what I get for being a small liberal arts college prof…
FYI: ScienceBlogs went read-only sometime last night because of a botched upgrade, so if someone can’t go forth and congratulate, that’s why.
