Author Interview: Joe Hill

As promised yesterday, I’ve got an Author Interview with Joe Hill up over at By The Way, in which many subjects are essayed in detail and a good time is had by all.

If you don’t go to read this interview, your pancreas could seize up and you may die. I didn’t say it will happen. I said it may happen. It’s your call.

  1. Good interview. I like the story about his wife. I think I’ve had the same with mine. And yet, we’re still married.

Music is sooo key to the writing for me. I’ve got a playlist going for my novel and I like to listen to certain stuff while I write. Either cerebral electronic stuff and pounding stuff to keep the pace going.

  2. Well, he certainly learned those lessons from his wife. I’ve read his “My Father’s Mask” in the Year’s Best (Datlow, Gavin, Link). Just frickin’ wow. Chills, creeps, mythic, whole lotta strange going on, just fantastic.
