I’m about to head out the door to catch a flight to San Diego. Won’t the flight be surprised! Posting will likely be spotty here for the next few days.

Yeah, sorry. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
How long have you been saving those up??
All my life, Jon. All my life.
So TAD was not only an homage to Philip K. Dick, but Margaret Atwood, as well? :)
Too much time of your hands?
“Agent to the Stars”
….GAS THREATENS TOT
Priceless!
I’m sure I’m not the only SF fan who would buy a book called DAMN REDHEADS RIOT sight unseen.
Being a redhead, I would definitely buy DAMN REDHEADS RIOT, sight unseen, because, well, we do riot, damnit!
(We’re also an alien species who will eventually take over the world, but that’s a different topic…)
Say, Scalzi, since the date of the tour approaches with ever flightful feet, what name did you ever decide on to call the tour?
“HOT LONELY CATS”
Sigh…as a jury member for a local SF/F literary award, I have read WAY too many stories that could easily have had this title.
DAMN REDHEADS RIOT would also be an awesome name for a rock band.
Damn! Someone beat me to the Dave Barry reference. I was going to say “Taste Other Angst” or “Holy Cola Tents” for band names.
Given the plot, I think “GAS THREATENS TOT” would have been a better name for The Android’s Dream.
Clearly a glitch in the anagram generator (please, please, please tell me you used an anagram generator, and you didn’t spend hours coming up with all of these on your own…)
Old Man’s War = A Man’s World. There’s also “lama drowns” and “sandal worm”.
YMMV. A lot, probably.
The Last Colony = Call to Honesty
Stealth colony, stealthy colon. Shot lonely cat. Call to thy nose! Scanty hell, too.
The salt colony?
