Back Home

And basically a mere husk of a human being, because traveling most of a day will do that to one, won’t it.

Back tomorrow. Now: Sleep.

  1. Okay, everybody — soft and low — women first, then the men…

    Frère Jacques, Frère Jacques,
    Dormez-vous? Dormez-vous?
    Sonnez les matines…

  2. Welcome back!!

Hope you had a nice time in France.

How something to clear the cobwebs from all that travel.

    I give you Human Tetris!

  3. OK nice and slow….
I’m a little teapot short and stout. Tip me over and pour me out..

    Welcome home.

I have an 19 hour trip returning home on Friday.

  4. I know a lot of people who slept yesterday and today…

It was very nice meeting you in Nantes.

A funny thing happened when I saw the main page of this blog. Two weeks ago, I was wondering where I had read that very neat essay on poverty, which I hadn’t bookmarked, of course. I thought : I’ll google it when I have the time. But there it is. We do live in interesting times…

  5. OK, I’ll stop whining when they send me to California.

Unless it’s a weekend flight on Delta, when they manage to make a 757 feel like a DC-10 that’s overbooked.

God, why did Jet Blue have to leave Columbus.

(Hmm… Need to work on that stop whining part. Just keep telling myself “Yeah, but Scalzi flew home from France. And he hasn’t made the Creation Museum yet.”)

  6. Sylvie Denis:

It was lovely to meet you as well! And I’m glad you had another reason to come visit the site.
