So, I’m doing some fiddling with the Scalzi.com site (aside from the background and banner image change), which is unrelated to Whatever, but which if I screw it up might possibly affect access in some nebulous way, maybe. If access seems a little bumpy today this may be why. Hopefully, however, you won’t even notice.
Looking good love the flowers, how’d you do that?
Desaturated all the greens and yellows, oversaturated the blues and reds, posterized the result.
One thing I noticed was that the blog links at the bottom of the RSS feed weren’t working, but I’m not sure if what you’re doing had anything to do with that.
This is outrageous. I’m going to have to demand all my money back.
Yeah, I don’t think that has anything to do with what I was trying to do.
Damnit man, you’re tampering with forces we barely understand! Your hubris will be the ruin of us all!
Or, you know, something.
Hopefully your server host doesn’t explode while you’re working on it. I heard that was a problem for some people over the weekend.
Ooh Pretty flowers, what are then?
They’re morning glories growing wild in a field. Around here (Ohio), they’re darn weeds, binding up the combines at harvest. But I still like them.
Nice banner pic.
Reminds me of the movie “Pleasantville”. Or perhaps that is where John lives..
I don’t know what you did, but it loads faster now. It’s back up to the speed it was at before the last time you fiddled with it, if that means anything to you.
banner is like everything is dying except the flowers or everything was dead but now starting to come alive.
