The Now Standard E-Mail Apology

For various reasons, I’m way behind on my e-mail. I’ll try to catch up in the next couple of days. If you’ve sent me e-mail in the last week to ten days, er, well, sorry.
Well, there was that thing I forwarded you about my uncle dying and offering you the chance to help me retrieve the sum of $37,000,000 he’d left in a numbered account, but there was a time limit on that one, so I guess it’s your loss and all.
Don’t believe him, John.
He’ll resend it in a day or two, under a pseudonym.
How soon will you start apologizing for being behind on e-mail apologies?
I think a summer vacation schedule has a minimum of two weeks as the standard for an email response. So don’t fear – you’re not late yet.
Hugh: Shhhh!
Is this now a saved txt file that you copy and paste? LOL
I just sent you an e-mail letting you know that I haven’t sent you any e-mails lately, so you don’t need to apologize to me for not responding.
I eagerly await your reply.
