If you’re coming here from the Zoe’s Tale review, the prologue chapter of that book is up for you to read here.
Likewise, feel free to graze off the Scalzi Creative Sampler, which features free fiction of various lengths, audio versions of stories, and music. Enjoy.
Congrats on the Slashdotting, John. :)
Thanks! I’ve been slashdotted before, so I know I can handle it.
Mr. Scalzi,
I’ve been reading SF for the better part of fifty years. I’ve read ’em all, and enjoyed most.
But in the last 5-10 years I’d all but lost interest; all the plots and characters seemingly had been “used”. Every new story I picked up was … meh.
I’ve actually looked forward to your new releases, and enjoyed each and every one. A lot!
Thank you.
You may be first on the Google search for “your writing sucks”, but your writing definitely does not suck. Not even a little bit, sir!
Best wishes to you and yours!
I’ve been slashdotted before
Braggart. ;)
I’ve been slashed, does that count? Or is the dot part required?
But, I do agree, Scalzi, you’re handling it well ;)
Well Jim, I’ve been dotted a few times in my life. Perhaps together we can form an online news site.
Oh crap, nevermind. The Simpsons did it. ;)
