SF at Night

I went up to Twin Peaks last night and thought I’d get a shot of the city. Look! San Francisco! It’s you! And I totally caught you blinking. Sorry about that.

Twin Peaks?
OMG! Do you know who shot Laura Palmer?
jman077 you beat me to the punch, I was going to ask if he’d enjoyed some “good cherry pie and a damn fine cup of coffee”.
i can see several of my old houses from here!
I, of course, immediately read that as “science fiction at night”
so did I, mensley.
I once did a search on “SF conventions”, thinking I would get all manner of links to SF cons more local to me. Um…the search results were definitely an eye-opener.
Looks like Twin Peaks would be a favorite haunt of teens making out and serial killers with hooks.
Well, there were a lot of teens, at least.
Teenage lovers’ lane + middle-aged guy with a camera = some good shots of an SFPD precinct?
I’m not middled-aged! I still have six months!
I take it back. Snap away, Ansel!
John, I am three months older than you and in no way, shape or form will I consider 40 middle age. Maybe when I turn 50.
Ooh, I haven’t been up Twin Peaks in ages-the view is always lovely from there (my second favorite after the Marin Headlands) except when the fogs envelops it, then it’s all ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’.
I just turned fifty and no way am I middle-aged.
Dr. Phil
Well, now, middle age would seem to imply the middle of your lifespan, so that would depend on how long one plans on living. I plan to life forever, and so far, so good!
I plan on living until I am 107. So I’ll start thinking middle age when I turn 53.
I flew out of San Jose at night heading north a few years ago and remember seeing a similar cool view of San Francisco. Bright lights up until you pass into Marin County where the lights suddenly go out.
Chris, Dr. Phil and T-weed @ various
Let’s just stay 39 as long as Jack Benny did. That was around 38 years if I remember correctly. 8D
thanks for the shot John, Christ I miss that city…
Did you spend any time “experiencing” the culture in the tenderloin?
