I do adore it when the dark side of the Moon is visible. It really slams home that it’s a sphere of rock and micellanous Stuff hanging out there a quarter-million miles away.

Hanging in the sky, in fact, just the same way bricks don’t.

I’ll take a moment to say “Godspeed little robots” to LRO and LCROSS, who’re swimming that dark void right now, looking for a nice spot for us to eventually build Luna City on. Maybe most of us will even live long enough to retire there.

Oh, stop looking at me like that. I’ve been posting here long enough for you to all know I’ve got my head both in the clouds and up my own bum.
