In various chromatic tones.
Did you just kill that tree?
Oooo, I wonder what’s in the cat-shaped present?
Awwww. All very nice pictures. Thank you for sharing them.
I see you got a lump of coal again this year.
How festive! Happy holidays, Scalzis. :-)
That’s not coal.
I see i am not the only one with a cat living under my festive tree.
Ah, the mysterious relationship between cat and christmas tree…
Why are you publishing pictures from last year? You’re usually much more prompt with…
…wait a second…it can’t be THAT month…can it?
(runs to storage unit)
These are lovely and adorable. What a beautiful family you have.
Wow, ten comments so far, and no Fan Club sighting yet? They’re slipping.
My cat does the same thing. The second the tree is up he sets up shop underneath.
Ok, how do you keep the cat from batting at the ornaments or trying to climb the tree? Or do I just have the wrong kind of cat?
Last picture lolcaption: “Hey! U unwrapd me b4 Xmas!! No fairs!”
I’m convinced that my cats think that they’re going camping when the tree goes up- it’s the same look that a kid gets when building the fort of sofa pillows.
MA@13, I’ve given up on trying to keep them from batting ornaments. Anything breakable goes high on the tree and is wired in tight, and the vast majority of my ornaments are unbreakable.
When we kept cats, they would not set up camp underneath the tree, but up among the branches. More than once we’ve come home or awakened to find the tree down and ornaments scattered or broken.
John, count yourself lucky.
M.A., we have a cat who actively complained until we plugged in the lights. We’ve got LEDs this year; we’ll see if she still wants them for the light, or if it were just for the warmth.
Kitty under the tree.
There’s nothing like the smell of a freshly assembled X-mas tree! Brings back all those good memories.
And, the obligatory ” your cat looks just like mine!” post. :)
Your lovely kitty is a ringer for our Amanda.
