Our city ‘splosions were canceled because of the weather (spoilsports), so my party of friends hauled out their stash and the neighborhood had a mini celebration. It was spur-of-the-moment and was enjoyed by all.
HAPPY 4th to you and your family!
I see the world-eaters are breaking through. Some-one call Bob Howard.
I celebrated my country 3 days ago. ;)
I am glad you had a great time without losing any fingers. My cousin is currently trying to set the neighborhood on fire. I am a little worried.
He was the inspiration for the crazy neighbor in my 4th of July blog today.
And what does poor Kody think of all the exploderyness?
Oops. Sorry. Kodi.
Nice pics.:)
What kind of camera did you use?
The same Nikon D70s I’ve had for five years.
Great pics! Thanks for sharing.
Very nice. I miss having sparklers and other kinds of things that go boom. You can’t get those things on account of it being very dry and it might start a fire. Community fireworks do the trick though.
Wow–amazing photos. I love fireworks, too but will have to wait for Guy Fawkes for another “fix”.
Phoenix Metro is FLAT. Got that?
We drove a little bit to see the Gilbert Fireworks. We parked about a mile away so we could avoid the crowd (plus my wife is reasonably sensitive to loud noises)
We saw the Gilbert Fireworks. And the Apache Junction ones. And Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, Queen Creek, Phoenix, and a couple others I couldn’t identify.
All in all, we could see 8 fireworks presentations from where I was parked, and there were two others behind us we saw on the way back.
Did I mention how Phoenix was flat?
