Smiling Typewriter says write, then escape!
Beautiful cat and typewriter. That reminds me that I’ve had “visit the used typewriter store downtown” on my list for too long: today!
(Would you believe I never did beg you to sign my Dark Faith copy… ah well. Hopefully, someday, there’ll be another chance.)
Third choice:
“or lying down right here so the minion can adore me while I take a well deserved nap”
Cat owner? No, proud cat minion and pamperer…
So few keys on that little beauty, very minimalist. How long do the batteries last? (grin) Does that have only one shift key? No, wait, that has separate caps and figures keys, doesn’t it? Wow, reminds me of my old teletype.
Do you ever use the red portion of the ribbon?
(Sorry about all the questions. I’m a sucker for old technology.)
get yr paws on that keyboard!
On this one, I don’t usually use the red portion of the ribbon but on our Royal, I did. We called it the “nuptial” typewriter. When Rob and I were planning the wedding we’d write questions on the typewriter, so that our every conversation wasn’t peppered with wedding stuff. I used the black ink and he used the red ink.
See now, perspective is everything.
To me the debate isn’t to write or to escape, it’s whether or not throwing that noisy contraption out the open window will free up my human’s time, so that she feeds me more regularly.
