Sunsets 2010: The Quickening

As it appears the rest of 2010 will consist of clouds, a quick review of 2010’s sunsets, as viewed by my camera:
This one taken in Melbourne rather than out my office window.
And, of course, one sunrise.
Gotta love the photos. They make me feel warmer, which helps, since it’s a balmy 25 degrees outside. I have a feeling that it’s going to be a long Michigan winter.
Hope you and the whole family had a terrific Christmas, and that you are all enjoying the generosity of the season today and the rest of the year.
So, are you sitting there looking at the computer saying in a funny accept “There can be only one”.
I love your blog in general, but this is one of my favorite posts so far. Thanks!
The first one looks like the spirit of Bozo the Clown shining down from the Throne of Heaven.
Boy, wouldn’t that explain a lot?
Melbourne is on the bottom of the world – so shouldn’t that actually be a sunrise?
(OK, I know it doesn’t actually work – I just wanted to make a stab at teasing our antipodean colinguists, with their summery holiday season and all).
John,
That was very nice! Thanks for sharing and have a Happy New Year!

Y’know, a couple of these look like the concept art for a Spinal Tap tour bus….
What camera do you use? I looked for a “camera post,” but only found a brief mention that you “bought yourself a DSLR.” I’m sure a lot of photo-geeks would like to know!
