Sunsets 2010: The Quickening

As it appears the rest of 2010 will consist of clouds, a quick review of 2010’s sunsets, as viewed by my camera:

This one taken in Melbourne rather than out my office window.

And, of course, one sunrise.

  1. Gotta love the photos. They make me feel warmer, which helps, since it’s a balmy 25 degrees outside. I have a feeling that it’s going to be a long Michigan winter.

  2. Hope you and the whole family had a terrific Christmas, and that you are all enjoying the generosity of the season today and the rest of the year.

  3. Dave H – I can see Canada from my house – Aging dad, electronics nerd, embedded software developer. (I'm the guy who makes your microwave blink 12:00.)

The first one looks like the spirit of Bozo the Clown shining down from the Throne of Heaven.

Boy, wouldn’t that explain a lot?

  4. Melbourne is on the bottom of the world – so shouldn’t that actually be a sunrise?

(OK, I know it doesn’t actually work – I just wanted to make a stab at teasing our antipodean colinguists, with their summery holiday season and all).

  5. What camera do you use? I looked for a “camera post,” but only found a brief mention that you “bought yourself a DSLR.” I’m sure a lot of photo-geeks would like to know!
