Heading Home

Sitting in the Reno airport now, waiting for the plane for Denver, and thence to home. Renovation was pretty darn good, I have to say, and now as I sit here I can’t help but notice most of the people at the gates seem to look like bleary-eyed conventioneers. I’ll have more notes on that later — probably when I get back home and catch up on all the sleep I didn’t have over the last few nights — but for now, just know that as much fun as it was, and it was fun, it’s nice to be heading back home. See you all again in a bit.
Isn’t everybody leaving Nevada bleary-eyed, even if they didn’t attend a convention?
Safe travel, John.
Heading home?
You haven’t lost Fort Scalzi at the roulette table?
Slacker.
It was good to see you, and we really appreciate the many contributions that you (and many other SFWA members) made to Worldcon. Thanks!!
Now, off for two days of decompressiono at an undisclosed location on Lake Tahoe.
Big highlight for me was attending the Scalzi reading. Enjoyed it tremendously!
Home safe, John. We’ll expect a full report! :-)
Hoping your trip home is boringly normal. Glad you had fun!
It was awesome seeing you there. Next year in Chicago, if I can make it. Hoe to see you there!
Hoping you have a lovely and delightful trip home — aka nothing that could be considered the plot to Die Hard 5 or Airplane 3 or for that matter, Waterworld (mainly because who wants their story home associated with a box office bomb?) Glad you enjoyed the trip.
er, hope. Hope to see you there.
I thought you knew something we didn’t, Josh!
I take it that you were not trailed by twenty hounds?
So, TomG, is Scalzi a friend of the devil, or is it vice-versa…?
You’re conscious enough to blog, anyway, which is saying something. ((Self, also sitting in the Reno airport next to two Minneapolis fans who are flying to Las Vegas by way of San Francisco.))
I saw you a couple of times — you looked busy & I didn’t want to break into your wave. But hi, now — remotely.
I’m appreciating all of your coverage of Lev Grossman. I’m just starting “The Magicians” & discovering that I really like it.
