For those of you who just happen to be in Frankfurt, Germany this evening, a reminder that my reading is here at 6:30 tonight:
Kunstverein Frankfurt
Markt 44 (Room D)
60311 Frankfurt am Main
Please come. And bring every single person you know.
For those of you who are not going to be in Frankfurt, Germany this evening, well. I hardly know what to tell you.
About to set off to the book fair for the day, at which I will probably spend a reasonable amount of time loitering at the Heyne booth. If you’re at the fair, come by and say hello.
How exciting! Unfortunately my private jet is out of service. Turns out it was only gold plated, you see, and that simply will not do.
This may be a silly question, but will you attempt to do a little of the reading in German or will it just be good ol’ English? Perhaps you have a translator? I’m curious as to how readings in foreign countries that speak those foreign languages work.
Are you going to read the German version? Ohhh, if so I hope someone is record it.
Woohoo!
Oh wait … You said Germany, not Frankfurt, OH…
Doh!
I have relatives in the Frankfurt area. I’ll let them know you’re giving a totally awesome reading.
Is Germany filled with Spaceships & Laser beams like your book covers?
I was laid over at Rhein-Main Flughafen while returning from TDY at Bodø, Norway on C-130 with a busted engine around this time of year in 1989. Command wouldn’t let us leave the lounge or else we’d have to clear customs. After several hours dozing in a chair, USAF had a new plane ready for us to return Stateside.
That’s my experience of Frankfurt.
