Which is:
As I’ve been traveling for more than a week and didn’t pay attention to anything while I was away, including e-mail, Facebook, Google+, news or, well, anything, it will probably take me a couple of days to get fully up to speed. Patience. In particular regarding e-mail, if you sent me an e-mail and wanted a response but don’t have one by 5pm Eastern on the 26th, feel free to send it again.
So, when you come to be GOH of Boskone in February, we should lay in a supply of Boston cream pie and Boston baked beans for you to consume? Not, of course, necessarily together.
Ooops. That beans-and-pie comment was intended for the previous thread …
@Bob:
Isn’t “Beans and Pie” the name of Meat Loaf’s backup band?
@Dave Branson
I thought that was “Mashed Potatoes and Gravy”.
@adelheid_p
I hear it’s “Freedom Fries and Horseradish” when they play in the deep South.
In Canada we visited a franchise restaurant called “Boston Pizza”. All of their locations appear to be in Canada. We did enjoy our meal, but we found ourselves how Boston came to be a famous American pizza city.
@Mike:
I think there used to be a Boston Pizza in Des Moines, WA, but not any more. I’m not sure if it was related to the chain you visited or not.
I think I sent you an email back in March of 2003, does this message mean you’re gonna answer it now?
Isn’t “The Standard Post Trip Disclaimer” the name of a newspaper formed from the merger of a number of smaller papers, of a wide variety of political stances, some of them dating back to the late 19th century?
