Silver Lining

It’s never fun to sleep poorly and be up early because of it, but on the other hand it was a nice sunrise.

I hate to say it, but there is little or no silver in that picture!
Fabulous colors for certain.
Good sky!!! =)
Sorry you didn’t sleep well… =(
Little bit of jet-lag?
Waking up early: First sign of impending geezerhood.
Jon Spencer:
I’ve been home for a week now. I can blame nothing on jet lag anymore. No, I just slept badly.
Good morning. I am still on east coast time in the mornings which sucks for someone who goes to bed on west coast time. So I know how you feel! A nap may be needed today.
Damn that looks cold! Gorgeous, but not for cold-blooded creatures such as I…
If you slept badly, the obvious answer is that you need more practice.
Just beautiful. I’d say that’s worth getting up for.
Absolutely beautiful. Worth getting up early :-)
A radiant beginning for the day but still, sleeping poorly is annoying. =/
Is that frost on the grass?
I just realized the other day that I hadn’t noticed you posting any sunrise pictures to go with your sunsets. Of course I wouldn’t see many sunrises myself if I could dictate my own work schedule. I’m really not a morning person. As winter approaches, I’m starting to drive to work in the dark instead of during the sunrise. Here’s the silver lining of Daylight Saving Time: starting a week from now, I’ll get to drive to work during the sunrise again. Other than that, I think that DST is silly, contrived, and pointless.
Not to take advantage of your lack of sleep, but wow that’s gorgeous. I almost don’t believe you took the pic yourself. Almost.

Or you are just doing it wrong.
I see your trees are ready for the first snowfall. Are you?
Wow. Spectacular photo.
