She certainly can be photogenic, when she makes an effort.
This particular picture captured by the cell phone, incidentally. The camera on it isn’t bad in a pinch.

For some odd reason I’m reminded of Andrew Wyeth’s “Christina’s World”, but with a dog instead of a girl, and the dog is facing the other way, and it’s a photo instead of a painting. Actually, it’s not much like that at all.
The depth of field on the camera is actually terrific.
HELP THERE IS A GIANT DOG RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR HOUSE
Aww, that’s one noble beast.
Makes me want to scratch behind her ears and tell her what a good doggie she is. It’s a great picture. If that camera has any photo quality issues, you’ve definately found its sweet spot.
Gee, my lawn care company puts down weed killer to keep daisies out of my yard. I am glad you don’t do that, though. Your Daisy is much nicer to have!
HI DAISY!
(She’s so purrrrty!)
Ah, the only situation where the Galaxy Nexus’s camera can take reasonably good pictures… full daylight. :)

You’ll be wanting to see this picture.
@bobcorrigan & The Proprietor:
Christina’s World was the instant thought upon hitting the page.
looks like a pretty day
We’ve had a nice stretch of days here recently, yes.
Good to here about the weather. Originally being from St. Louis I have heard they have had some cold nights but nice days this week. Spring has certainly sprung…
“She certainly can be photogenic, when she makes an effort…”
Pfft. Like she has to try very hard!
That phone camera works a lot better for recording memories than the one you left in the house.
That is such an “Americana” picture, I almost can’t believe it.
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer true!
I’m half crazy over the likes of you.
It won’t be a stylish marriage;
I can’t afford a carriage.
But you’ll look sweet
Upon a seat
Of a bicycle built for two.
What a good dog…
She’s the winsomest dog in Ohio, for sure. And oh, that endless summer sky of yours – you have a great summer!
La belle!
She’s so pretty! You should totally add a pet section. How is your bunny doing?
changterhune:
Richard, Richard, here is my answer true:
You’re quite crazy, if you think that will do.
If you can’t afford a carriage
There won’t be any marriage!
‘Cause I’ll be switched
If I’ll be hitched
On a bicycle built for two.
Nobody ever remembers the second verse…
My first thought when I saw the title was that early summer
(when Shasta Daisies start blooming) was very early at your
place.
My 21 month old daughter pointed at your adorable pooch for about 10 minutes shouting, “A DOG!!”
I think that she wants to play with Daisy.
@John & @captainned – GMTA. Photos of Daisy in the style of classic paintings could be an interesting game.
