Sunset With Sundog

Taken with the cell phone camera on the way home. Yes, I stopped driving to take the picture. No, there was no one behind me. I live out in the boonies, remember?

  1. Thanks, John. I needed that.

  2. There once was a nerd from Darke Bradford
Who kept all his sunsets Whatever
    But his puppy, Daisy
    Ran away with his phone
And as for Whatever, it’s darker

I adore winter sunsets. There’s something truly breathtaking about the contrast of the firey ball with a frozen, stark landscape.

  4. Looks like a typical Darke County sunset. There was a singer named “Moondog” back in the 60s – boy, does THAT date me! I should have looked outside when I was going to pick up more kitty litter.

  5. Always love your sunrise/sunset pictures. I get to work pre-sunrise, and yesterday morning some whispy cirrus clouds were outlined in diffuse red, looked like a fire in the sky.
