“Crepuscular” is one of my favorite words. Nice dual light show, too.
Antecrepuscular.
Tsk. Call yourself an author. Y U no werd gud?
Wait. I’m completely wrong. I’ve just humiliated myself in front of your entire readership.
Again.
Yeah, that’s a keeper! Definitely worth making a larger print.
My new desktop.
That one is particularly beautiful.
Scalzi has three cats. He knows from crepuscular.
It looks like an ethereal sewage pipe, carrying all that heavenly business down to the waste tank that is Earth.
-grin- no, not bad.
… purdy…
The first time I saw an ice pillar it was dark. There were three of them, and I had no idea what they were.
I called my brother, who was studying for a Ph.D in atmospheric sciences, and he clued me in. My response: “Good. I thought it was the start of an alien invasion!”
For some reason this picture, among the many you have shared, stopped me and reminded me wonderful the world we live in can be.
Great photo, and extra points for the use of “crepuscular.”
