Subterranean Press Publisher Copy Sale: Proceeds to RAINN

Subterranean Press, which I think most of you know handles all of my limited editions and non-novel works (and is the publisher of The Mallet of Loving Correction), is having a “publisher copy” sale — “publisher copies” being extra copies of books they keep on hand to replace damaged or lost orders.
They have a few more on hand than they need, apparently, so they’re going to sell off some, and have the proceeds go to the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network, which is an organization that helps people who have been sexually assaulted. Good group, which I have donated to before myself (just recently, in fact).
Books included in the sale include some from some of the biggest names in science fiction and fantasy, including Elizabeth Bear, Paolo Bacigalupi, Allen Steele, Robin Hobb, Brandon Sanderson and Ray Bradbury. And these are SubPress editions, which means they are both beautiful and generally limited (i.e., hard to find, and some of these are otherwise totally sold out in printed form). Worth the getting for your collection, basically.
So: Get some cool books, and help a good cause. And hurry, because when these copies sell out, they’re gone.
Man, reading your website is not good for the pocketbook, but sure is good for the soul. Thank you.
Thanks for the heads up. Picked up a couple of treats!
Just ordered a signed, limited edition on one of my favorite UnScalzis! Oh, and I got to support a very Gamma-worthy cause too!
I’ve been loving Subterranean Press for years…here’s another good reason why.
::[RAINN is a] Good group, which I have donated to before myself (just recently, in fact).::
Is that the group that got you and Jim Hines to contort yourselves trying to look sexy, Scalzi?
How do author commissions work with this kind of sale? Is that a dumb question?
Darn – all gone..
