Whoa! Dammit, and I won’t get up there for another week and a half! I’m gonna miss it all! Well, actually, I’m going to be in Cuyahoga Falls. It’s probably over by now. Fabulous! I’m afraid you are right. :-( :-) Didn’t you already hit winter with that snowstorm a week ago? Yup, I noticed it on my walk this morning (Southeastern PA here) that the colors were peaking. Wind and rain tonight will probably knock all the leaves down. to wound the autumnal country. It peaked here in Vermont about two weeks ago. Pretty good season all in all. Are you having high winds there? Here in lovely central Ohio, almost all communities moved trick-or-treat to this weekend. You have Purple trees? I want purple trees. Reblogged this on Writing Out Loud and commented: Good bye autumn of 2013. Great picture! It was 80 plus deg here, (San Antone). It rained most of last night. Some folks from work were stranded at home. I dunno, I think it could be autumner. Some of those trees in the background still look a bit green to me. There must be some way to turn this autum picture thread political. [pause] Just kidding. Envy. Envy. Envy. Here in West Texas there is a town named No Trees. And all the trees in our town were planted by someone–too many Mulberry trees. Autumn colors? Not here. We can get 90 degree days in January. The new leaves budding out in early March push the old dead leaves off the branches to the ground. I then just let the spring winds blow them away. You live in a pretty part of the country, Sir John, with four actual seasons. Envy. Envy. Envy. We just don’t get autumn like this in Australia. I would LOVE to spend an autumn in Vermont or somewhere like that, just to see all those colours. Comments are closed.
