Complete with a sun pillar giving the sunset a nice, Mordor-like glow.

    I spy with my big-huge-nasty-flaming eye…

Donna Leonard – Southern California – I like to write, read, knit, crochet, watch movies, watch way too much television, listen to music and play Drawsomething 2 somewhat obsessively, not necessarily in that order. Or an alien death-ray.

  3. I had two thoughts when I saw this, the biblical pillar of fire in Exodus and the beam that guides you in some video games.

  4. Uh oh. I feel for you having Sauron move in down the road. That guy’s going to bug you every time he loses his contact lens, yanno. And don’t get him started on that stupid ring. Well, there goes the neighborhood.

  5. The sunset has a “Mordor-like glow”? That’s means it’s “precious”? Nicht wahr?
(Surprised I’m the first here to mention “precious”).

  6. This reminds me of the scene in Hocus Pocus where the teens open that book (yes, the one with the freaky eye and made from human skin) and they’re not supposed to and the light shines up and through the house. Which leads me to my next thought…WHAT was Athena doing while this photo was taken?!; pretty sure I know!

  7. It’s a Big-O-Beam! Watch out for those Martians. And the livestock.
