Of course I want one! But alas, being outside of 50 United States and D.C., and Canada (excluding Quebec) it’s a no go. Good luck to everyone else!
Can I have please?!?!
Asking for the ARC here will do you no good. You have to follow the link.
I followed the link. I posted my comment. Then I was faced with…. the dreaded… CAPTCHA. Third try was the charm though.
Hedzer – Sadly, “me too”.
I understand there are probably immense legal challenges around running a competition that is open to everyone (trying to ensure it follows local legislation everywhere is, I’m sure, a logistical nightmare!).
It’s just frustrating, given that the first two letters of “www” stand for “World Wide” …
I’ve already given my money away on pre-order; so now just impatiently waiting for release date…
(And John, hope you enjoy the can of coke, which is about what I figure your cut of my $$ probably comes to!)
Want one!
Entered. Now the wait.
442 entrants so far.
Based on the number of entrants, I’m not feeling too optimistic about my chances – but I was going to buy it in August anyway. Looks like a lot of people are excited about the book.
What Hedzer and jamesrt said. The geographic limitations are, well, very limiting.
I’m another of the “that would be great! – Oh, I’m excluded because I’m not in the USA/Canada” crowd. Gets me every time with the Tor competitions. :-(
Despite Canada being included, the official rules actually specify that if a Canadian winner is chosen, they must “correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone or email.”
Brush up on your math skills, o Canadians. :)
