Because I don’t feel like it. Yes, that will happen from time to time.
In my absence, enjoy Eddie Izzard, who I am seeing this evening (at a concert, not, like socially. Although I wouldn’t mind hanging out with him. He seems cool).
See you tomorrow.
oh, how I adore him – “cake or death?”
Eddie Izzard is just brilliant.
You wouldn’t think he could be improved upon, but this particular bit of him just begs for this link:
Cake please!
Smart guy. And very very funny.
“But do you have… A FLAG?”
Funny. The Husbeast and I are seeing Eddie Izzard when he hit Chicago this Sunday as well. Enjoy the show.
Have fun!
Got to see him in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. He’s amazing. :D Enjoy!
Yay! I am seeing him on the 20th in K.C.- the ticket was a surprise (early) birthday present from friends, so double yay.
I get that a lot as well. Enjoy your day off the grid and have a blast tonight!
I don’t have time to watch the linked video right now, but I know it. It is why I learned to make penne alla arrabbiata.
I wouldn’t be surprised if you have friends who are friends with Eddie. Maybe Neil Gaiman? The day of the show might be a bit late to try to set something up, but I bet you could meet him. Just let it be known that you’d like to meet him, and some day, one of your common acquaintances might say, “Hey! I’m meeting Eddie for lunch. Want to come along?”
Being a fan of both of you, I’d bet that the two of you would have a great time hanging out.
Saw him last week in Columbus. I hope you enjoy his show as much as I did.
I have hung out with him once. He is indeed very cool.
Saw that show when he was in DC. You’ll enjoy it.
We had the pleasure of sitting next to you and your lovely wife this evening. It was wonderful to have met you both! I have added ‘Old Man’s War’ to my summer reading list already. Best regards to you. I hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did!
Kristi:
We certainly did. Lovely to meet both of you, and hope you enjoy the book!
And I got to say Hi to John as we were heading into the theater. It was an amazing show, with a callback to the video John posted.
