I was in awe myself as I saw all those gorgeous evening hues, a thunderstorm in a distance and a rainbow :) Beautiful shot!
Spring said goodbye some time ago. The problem is that astronomers and meteorologists define spring a little differently than the rest of the world. Astronomers define the seasons based on the equinoxes and solstices, but they aren’t “official”. Meteorologists define the seasons based on the start of a month (e.g., spring runs from March 1 – May 31). And traditionalists still use the “cross quarter days”, which is why June 21 marks the middle of summer and not its start.
