Reminder: I’m in Chicago Next Tuesday, 10/21, at the Seminary Co-op in Hyde Park, 6pm

Yes, if you’re in or around the University of Chicago — my alma mater — or, heck, just in the city of Chicago in general, come on down and see me. This is the very last official stop of the Lock In tour, and after this I have no more scheduled public appearances until 2015. So if you want to see me this year, this is the time and the place.

Here are all the details. See you there!

  1. I fly in that night for my last event in Chicago…If I weren’t working, I would seriously consider making the trek to Hyde Park…

  2. Sadly, I can’t make it. But I really enjoyed the book. It’s just as good the second time around.

  3. There’s nowhere quite like the Co-op — warrens tunneled by theological students under the streets of Hyde Park, filled with books. I envy you the time there!

  4. Sadly, the university needed the seminary basement for basement purposes, so the co-op had to move across the street. It’s a perfectly nice space with windows, finished walls, a level floor, all those sorts of things, but it’s not near as charming as the old one. Although they did manage to arrange the bookshelves to keep it so that you’re always coming eye-to-eye with something unexpected and brilliant…
