Like nature’s stained glass –
Not really. It’s snowing here. Up to 9 inches ttoday.
… And now I have the “General Hospital” theme (“Autumn Leaves”) stuck in my head…
The picture makes them look like a stained glass window.
It’s nice and sunny where I am, but only a couple of degrees above zero.
Cool, blue and sunny here in Northern California, with two scrub jays mourning the dearth of peanuts in the feeder.
Like that photoshop work. Looks like what trees in autumn must be after dropping a tab. I think. Who knows, maybe I’ll confirm one day.
I also thought of stained glass.
Beautiful, thanks for sharing.

wow, looks like stained glass
That’s really stunning — thanks for sharing.
It is quit chilly and there is some snow in Massachusetts today.
Wind full of flurries
cascade thru trees, red and gold
grave of leaves on ground
So pretty! Happy Sunday to you, too!
That’s a phenomenal picture!
We’re used to things fading out and desaturating (to misty gray or the dark of night) as they recede into the distance. The inversion here is really striking.
That’s a stunningly beautiful photograph. I envy you your locality, your season and your photography skills!
It’s my new homescreen on my iPad, replacing an earlier sunset photo of yours.
Absolutely gorgeous. I have one like it on my home desktop that I took at Mount Vernon, VA, a couple years ago.
