I needed that. Not really tiny kittens any more, are they? More like adolescent cats. Daisy is right to look concerned. I feel much better. John Scalzi is all about value added. I totally needed those cats and dog, thank you very much! This is lovely, and thank you so much for sharing it. These glimpses at your pets really do make my days happier, and I appreciate them! Aww, so leggy! Cats are definitely solar powered. If there is a sunny spot where they can lay down, they will be there. Aww, Mama Daisy admiring her two not-pups with pointed ears. I needed that. And advocating use of passive solar heating. Your dog looks old. Is she a senior canine citizen? Have you had her since she was a puppy? Aaaaw. And I do have a special soft spot for the large, lovable pooch in the background. I do love the look that dogs get on their faces around cats. It’s like, “I’m not sure what to do here.” But what about the fish, John? What. about. the fish. Nobody ever remembers about the fish. Brain food, photos of fish in the internet. Read that in a magazine. And they even found a large enough patch of sunlight to share! Daisy seems to be saying, “Hey…I don’t have to do anything! And the cuteness takes care of itself! YAYYYYY!!!” That’s exactly what I needed! Thanks! Nice picture. Was the HDR done in-camera, or afterwards? I’m guessing there’s HDR involved, since lower-cat(tm) is evenly exposed across the sunlight boundary… Doggy lagniappe! rmgiroux: No HDR, just playing with the various levels in Photoshop so everything was visible. You know, with Cute Overload folding, this becomes all the more important. I’m not an animal lover per se, but I do love your pictures. They never fail to put a smile on my face. Absolutely right; there are few things more cheering than kittens, and when you add a somewhat bemused large dog it’s pure gold. Awwwww, critters! Your dog looks old. Is she a senior canine citizen? Have you had her since she was a puppy? Comments are closed.
