Some very fine books and authors in this week’s stack of books and ARCs. See something here that is begging for your reading attention? Tell us about it in the comments!

  1. I think I’d read anything by Elif Batuman. (I’ve already read and enjoyed the Tim Powers.)

  2. Medusa’s Web is a lot of fun. Time travel, sort of… body swapping, sort of… hollywood all the time.

  3. Read Good Morning, Midnite. A good attempt that just missed. Had some real potential. Any readers out there who can explain the twist at the end to me?

  4. Tana French! Last year I picked up In the Woods based on a Lev Grossman recommendation and proceeded to read all of her Dublin Murder Squad books straight through. They are pretty dark, but very, very good. I’d rank her right up there with PD James, maybe better.

  5. Coming in late to add my vote for the Ken Liu title. Really enjoying everything he writes and translates.
