Which I expect will be fine for most of you. Enjoy the rest of your Thursday!

I confess, I am finding it hard to maintain my usual close following of the political news. When I do, I get talk of building more nukes, which is pretty depressing after so much work for decades to trim the arsenal down.

And an issue with the stacks of books photographed. I tried to order one from Powell’s, which had it listed, but just after I got the email that my order was being processed, I got one that my order was cancelled, because the product was not in stock. The issue is that this was amusing ;-)

I think the other items on the order are being picked and shipped, tho, so that’s good.

JR in WV: If you’re interested, for the past six days, I’ve been coming up with three articles per day about “what went right” from my news feeds – as a counter-balance to all the stuff about “what went wrong”. Have a look at http://megpie71.dreamwidth.org/, and see whether there’s anything there which could help.

put a napoleonic hat on it and you’ve got it just right (hee hee). Sometimes the words just won’t come (i’ve been struggling with that for a month, and said “screw it” and started researching and painting instead). Hoping the new year works wonders and flows well. I call this the “December Dumps,” whereby we’re all feeling the effects of to much food, family, stress, erratic schedules and behavior, and the brain-sucking amoeba just come out to play. Post New Year oughta be awesome!
