Matt Haig’s Hot To Stop Time is one of the best books I read last year.
“The Father of Lies” please. I’ve not read K.J.Parker’s novels but have recently devoured his short fiction.
I’d be thrilled to get any of them.
Elizabeth Moon
The top 3 that stand out to me:
How To Stop Time — what a great title.
The Sky is Yours — great design, I really like the look.
The Poppy War — sounds interesting.
This is the second time THE POPPY WAR has caught my eye just today, so I guess I’m gonna have to check it out.
The Soldier and Zero Limit sounds interesting, so either would be awesome.
Faerie Apocalypse and Father of Lies
The Trump biography on the bottom might be interesting.
M O O N; that spells good readin’.
Tom Comeau — snerk.
Read Elizabeth Moon’s Cold Welcome; Into the Fire must be the next in the series. I believe I ordered it for our library. Looking forward to it.
I’m reading THE SKY IS YOURS. It’s a story that works hard to be weird, and is achieving its goal.
Elizabeth Moon definitely
Marshall Ryan Maresca’s LADY HENTERMAN’S WARDROBE will be showing up here when it comes out, of course!
Does the Faerie Apocalypse happen when the robots attack?
K.J. Parker has a novel? **Runs to bookstore**
The newest Asher books are all on pre-order, as is the second crew book from Maresca.
PS: I need a TV series set in Maradaine…
“The Father of Lies” without a doubt. I’ve read “Academic Exercises” – a brilliant collection. The Asher book also looks interesting.
Neal Asher without a doubt.
5/18 Neal Asher The Soldier. Yup, I’ll have to wait until May.
Of course anything Moon or K J Parker
Like so many others, I’m a Moon worshipper. Alas, it looks like her recent stuff is DRM’d so I’ll have to see if I can (eventually) get it ILL’d (the post-move house doesn’t have floor space for the library I have, much less new hardcopy.)
The new Neal Asher book (The Soldier)… I tear through everything he writes…
Pam, the Faerie Apocalypse does not feature robots–but it does have heavily armed cyborg fairies.
Faerie Apocalypse is an intriguing title…
Malerman’s UNBURY CAROL is his best work yet. I’m about to put out a review, and I have nothing but praise for this one.
