It’s Already Past Five and My Brain is the Consistency of Mush, So Please Accept This Picture of Two Tuxedo Cats Who May Possibly Be Bored

Bored, or content? With cats it’s hard to tell.

  1. My God. There is not 1 cat hair on that upholstery!
Do something fun and relaxing, and let your subconscious work out whatever it was that turned it to mush.

  2. kirizar – Michigan – I am all things to all people. As long as people are looking for a mom with diverse interests and a homebound tendency to look through the window of life and wish (or imagine) something just a little bit different. I am like the Tardis on Doctor Who. I am much bigger on the inside.

As a study in contrasts, the picture is quite rewarding. They almost look like mirrored universes, but with everything reversed or changed just enough to tell the difference. Which one is the real one is hard to tell.

  3. cryptomathecian – As an urban nomad, cryptomathecian and writer I like to mix up adventure, literature, science and history. I live somewhere between Europe, Central America and Asia.

Don’t know where this pressure comes from to feel obliged to post everyday.

  4. Yeah! Which filter on your Pixel 3 edits out the fluff so thoroughly?
I don’t think cats get bored as frequently as we do. There’s always something (or somebody) they can go and destroy if life’s a bit dull.

  5. I’d say ‘bored’ if they very soon after starting running around like crazy, or yelling at you, or just started ripping something apart.

I’m not sure ‘content’ were accurate either; I’d go with ‘Waiting to get back to the important business of Sleep.’.
