New Books and ARCs, 10/24/19

This stack features extra added Sugar! (That’s the cat.) And is otherwise a very very fine stack of new books and ARCs. What here is calling to you? Tell us all in the comments!

  1. Sugar is calling to me, but the idea of a “Solarpunk” collection and someone in marketing allowing the use of Bloodchild as a title are interesting, too.

  2. I sort of chomped at the air when I saw The City We Became, and I’ve been waiting for The Guinevere Deception for months.

  3. Repo Virtual and The Lost Causes of Bleak Creek look good! I’ll also need to take a look at Bloodchild, Mazes of Power, and The Girl With No Face

  4. “The Monsters Know What They’re Doing” puts me in mind of international politics.
Awful state of affairs, but Keith Amman may have spun an entertaining yarn from the premiss. I’ll have a look a.s.a.p.

  5. I’m intrigued by Upright Women Wanted. Looked for more info, and the tagline “Are you a coward or are you a librarian?” is outstanding. Setting looks good, too.

  6. Ooh, The City We Became! And the new Dave Duncan. I wonder if that’s the last one in his pipeline? I’ve had several books from him on my stack, that I read this year to honor his death.

  7. Bleak Creek. I gotta love Rhett and Link. I am a bit of a Good Mythical Morning junkie. They make me laugh. I hope the book encapsulates their online vibe.

  8. Definitely the Dave Duncan. As a beta reader this was a fantastic book. A great story to complete this trilogy. There are a few more books in the pipe that will be coming out in the future.
