  1. Wait! Catherynne Valente wrote a Minecraft book? Wait!! There are Minecraft books!? How does that even work? I’m so-o-o confused!

I did read N K Jemisin’s Mass Effect novel, so I don’t turn my nose up at video-game novels if they’re written by someone good. Thus, I may end up reading this one—but not till I finish boggling at its existence. :)

  2. I loved the first book in the Sanderson “Skyward” series and hope this sequel is as good. Yes, it’s a bit YA focused, but he’s my favorite writer (just edging out you, JS, no offense). :)

  3. If John Ringo is going to collaborate, he should do a book with the NBA player Paul George. That’s a byline match made in heaven.

  4. Thanks for this. I’ve been trying to read more sci-fi. I haven’t read any of these yet, but I have read other books by Cixin Liu, Brandon Sanderson, and Mercedes Lackey.
