That is a gorgeous stack of books.
That Hao Jingfang book definitely has my interest. I LOVED ‘Folding Beijing’ and I really can’t wait to read more from her.
Nicholas’s RE-COIL sounds intriguing!
Wait! Catherynne Valente wrote a Minecraft book? Wait!! There are Minecraft books!? How does that even work? I’m so-o-o confused!
I did read N K Jemisin’s Mass Effect novel, so I don’t turn my nose up at video-game novels if they’re written by someone good. Thus, I may end up reading this oneābut not till I finish boggling at its existence. :)
The Only Good Indians……..I need to check that one out. Thank you.
Vagabonds sounds really interesting, and I love a doorstopper sf
Mur Lafferty also wrote a Minesweeper book
I loved the first book in the Sanderson “Skyward” series and hope this sequel is as good. Yes, it’s a bit YA focused, but he’s my favorite writer (just edging out you, JS, no offense). :)
If John Ringo is going to collaborate, he should do a book with the NBA player Paul George. That’s a byline match made in heaven.
Thanks for this. I’ve been trying to read more sci-fi. I haven’t read any of these yet, but I have read other books by Cixin Liu, Brandon Sanderson, and Mercedes Lackey.
