As November fades into the holiday season, we have one last, tall, stack of new books and ARCs for the month. What here is ringing your bells? Tell us all in the comments!
That is a gorgeous stack of books.
That Hao Jingfang book definitely has my interest. I LOVED ‘Folding Beijing’ and I really can’t wait to read more from her.
Nicholas’s RE-COIL sounds intriguing!
Wait! Catherynne Valente wrote a Minecraft book? Wait!! There are Minecraft books!? How does that even work? I’m so-o-o confused!
I did read N K Jemisin’s Mass Effect novel, so I don’t turn my nose up at video-game novels if they’re written by someone good. Thus, I may end up reading this one—but not till I finish boggling at its existence. :)
The Only Good Indians……..I need to check that one out. Thank you.
Vagabonds sounds really interesting, and I love a doorstopper sf
Mur Lafferty also wrote a Minesweeper book
I loved the first book in the Sanderson “Skyward” series and hope this sequel is as good. Yes, it’s a bit YA focused, but he’s my favorite writer (just edging out you, JS, no offense). :)
If John Ringo is going to collaborate, he should do a book with the NBA player Paul George. That’s a byline match made in heaven.
Thanks for this. I’ve been trying to read more sci-fi. I haven’t read any of these yet, but I have read other books by Cixin Liu, Brandon Sanderson, and Mercedes Lackey.
