  1. That Hao Jingfang book definitely has my interest. I LOVED ‘Folding Beijing’ and I really can’t wait to read more from her.

  2. Wait! Catherynne Valente wrote a Minecraft book? Wait!! There are Minecraft books!? How does that even work? I’m so-o-o confused!

I did read N K Jemisin’s Mass Effect novel, so I don’t turn my nose up at video-game novels if they’re written by someone good. Thus, I may end up reading this one—but not till I finish boggling at its existence. :)

  3. I loved the first book in the Sanderson “Skyward” series and hope this sequel is as good. Yes, it’s a bit YA focused, but he’s my favorite writer (just edging out you, JS, no offense). :)

  4. If John Ringo is going to collaborate, he should do a book with the NBA player Paul George. That’s a byline match made in heaven.

  5. Dawn Ross – Topeka, Kansas – I've always had a vivid imagination. As a child, I loved to daydream and make up stories in my head. I later developed a love for fantasy novels as well as mythology and ancient history. This love combined with my own imagination inspired me to write my own fantasy novel. I have since written three fantasy novels, a trilogy called The Dukarian Legacy. I am now working on a sci-fi space opera. The first book is titled StarFire Dragons and just became available on Amazon in 2020.

Thanks for this. I’ve been trying to read more sci-fi. I haven’t read any of these yet, but I have read other books by Cixin Liu, Brandon Sanderson, and Mercedes Lackey.
