The 10s in Review: Athena, in Photos

Photos of my daughter in the last decade, in roughly chronological order, starting and ending with birthday photos from 2010 and 2019, respectively.

It’s been a privilege to be here as she’s grown up. I wouldn’t have missed a moment of it for all the treasures of the world. I can’t wait to see where her next decade takes her.

  1. Dawn Ross – Topeka, Kansas – I've always had a vivid imagination. As a child, I loved to daydream and make up stories in my head. I later developed a love for fantasy novels as well as mythology and ancient history. This love combined with my own imagination inspired me to write my own fantasy novel. I have since written three fantasy novels, a trilogy called The Dukarian Legacy. I am now working on a sci-fi space opera. The first book is titled StarFire Dragons and just became available on Amazon in 2020.

    She’s beautiful!

  2. A number of these pictures look like there’s an intriguing story behind them. In particular, (a) the eye patch, (b) “I can’t breathe”, and (c) the mustard-colored dress.

(FWIW, one of my favorite short stories is entitled “I can’t breathe.”)

  3. Thanks for sharing your family. You seem a nice dad and a guy to share a beer with. I like your work and am a political near opposite. Keep being a good person
    Happy New year
