Hey, this web site is free. You get what you get. And today, you get a nice if slightly stale sunset! Not bad!

Huh… day-old sunsets taste about the same as freshly made sunsets. Who knew? What a bargain!
“Slightly stale!” Love it!
When did you get your second COVID shot? Some people have said the second day, especially with the second dose, hits much harder than the first….
Your stale sunsets are still pretty nice, but I forgot how cold it still can be in April up here! (Cincinnati for the weekend, brr.)
I for one am happy with more Athena posts. You can just shuffle of to that word processor in the corner and give me more reasons to spend money on books.
Athena, in the past 6 months or so you’ve grown a lot as a writer. You go girl!
On a side note I just read Dennis Taylor’s We Are Legion (We Are Bob) and pictured Scalzi as the protagonist the whole time. I think it was because the writing style and humor were so similar. These seem like Scalzi books he didn’t write ( and that is meant as a HUGE compliment).
To quote my local grocery chain, stale sunsets are “Still wholesome and good for many uses.”

The good news is that even on days where your brain barely shows up, you’re still doing better than most.
Mama told me there’d be days like this… she was right…
Sometimes I let my sunsets go stale on purpose. Fresh sunsets are great, no doubt, but sometimes I enjoy the extra texture the staleness brings.sta
I’m grateful for your free website, which I visit nearly every day. Thank you for making the effort.
